Employees are registered
The employer adds their eligible employees to the TownPerks system. Only current employees of participating businesses qualify — membership is personal and non-transferable.
Employee receives membership
Each employee receives an individual digital membership card with a unique QR code, their name, employer name, and ACTIVE membership status.
Employee shops locally
The employee visits any other participating business and presents their TownPerks card before payment. No app download required — the card works on any mobile browser.
Membership is verified
Staff scan or check the QR code to confirm the membership is active. No payslips or employment documents needed — just a quick scan at the till.
Discount is applied
The participating business applies its TownPerks discount — 5%, 10%, or 15% at their discretion — through their existing till. Simple, fast, and no extra technology required.

The employee experience is designed to require as little effort as possible. TownPerks works through a mobile-friendly website — no app download needed. Your digital card can ultimately be added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
